FTC disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.Hamster and Cheese (Guinea Pig, Pet Shop Private Eye) is a 46 page comic / graphic novel for kids featuring a guinea pig named Sasspants. He lives in a pet shop, and the "G" on his sign of "Guinea Pig" fell off, so a hamster named Hamisher thinks Sasspants is a private investigator. There is a mystery a foot -- daily Mr. Venezi, the owner of the shop, sets his sandwich down, and before lunch it is gone.
This is a cute book, and even cuter that the hamster thinks he is a koala. Age range on this is about 7-11 but there is a little disrespect with the animals that if you are really watching what your children read, you might not want them to read this. Plus, I'm not sure I like the whole part of who takes the sandwich -- there is no reason given why the sandwich is taken daily. It just is.
Still, if you like books that feature guinea pigs, this is sure to delight. There are several others in the series as well, I haven't read them yet, but I hope to.
One of the best things about this book is it is available for free on Kindle Unlimited. This is a service where you can borrow up to 10 Kindle books enrolled in the program at a time -- and no limit to how many you can return and borrow in a month. It is free the first month, and only $10 a month after that, so it's a nice way to expose yourself to new books for a small amount of money.
I love how this pet shop focuses on animal care and quality products! It’s refreshing to see such dedication to pets’ happiness and well-being.Read more info about Hamster Litter Tray Buy Online UK
